I prefer the front end treatment of the Mercedes

Came here to say this, although that front end is the same as the Mk1 Ssangyong rather than the Mercedes only version (a regional rebadge). The version posted above is the Daewoo facelifted version. I’d buy a pre-facelift GX220 if one came up in the right condition, I actually search once a month or so for one.

Oh that’s interesting. I’d say it was quite a bit smaller than the Musso. And I don’t think the Kyron really had a pickup like the Musso did, at least not for a while.

I can’t believe I’m actually discussing the finer points of the lineup of such a disgusting car manufacturer. Truly an Oppo moment

Haha, I wouldn’t know since we don’t get Ssangyongs in the states (probably good) so it’s hard to judge size based on pictures alone. I’d guess that maybe the Musso was just too big so they sized down the Kyron a bit to fit in with the rest of the market.

It’s definitely a good thing there was no Kyron pickup, the Musso pickup is ugly enough as it is...
